Terry, I greatly enjoy your golf instruction . You have revolutionized the teaching of this sport and set the mechanized “teaching establishment” on it’s ear! I pulled a back muscle and have had to stay away from the game for a week or so. Still watching the videos religiously. I am particularly impressed by your concept of a group personal journey. You have a great product and are on your way. I feel lucky to have found your site. Keith Austin Jr. Palm Beach, FL

Terry, First of all let me say thank you to the best online instructor I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of them. never has the golf swing been explained as simple, but as accurate as you tell it. I wish I found you years ago. after watching a few of your instructions, I recently had a chance to play one round of golf due to cold weather here in the northeast part of the country. without practicing or having a chance to hit the driving range and incorporating your instructions, my ball striking was the best I’ve ever hit the ball. looking forward to learning with you and keep up the good work. again, thank you. tony r.
Terry, 2/6 is great because it’s not a gimmick. It’s a legit swing that produces results. Even better I can self diagnose when I hit fat thin or slice. I know if I can’t drop my arms I’ve made some manipulation (usually over the top). Thanks for doing the vids for free even though I’m going to subscribe so I can find a way to thank you.  Mike
Terry, I tried 2/6 last few months of 2015. Everything I felt I was looking for was a part of your system. Great ball striking and distance. got caught uplooking at some of the other guys and got confused and lost all my progress. Your explanations are simple and effective. Just a case of too many choices. Seems to good to be true, but your method works. Simply wanted to say thanks. Getting back on 2/6 today. Fidelis Deus

Hey Terry, just got your app, i met someone who told me about you and i started practicing your teachings but it came very natural too me, i played sunday a course i never played befor and shot my greatest round of my life of 78! I just been having problems with the driver and i top it, any tips for me? Archie W

Hey Terry, Good video haven’t talk to you in a while.Using your technique I won a tournament last summer hitting irons great.Started using some different thoughts this fall trying to hit driver longer.Played good but now I am struggling hitting my irons off of dormant tight fairways.I think I need to get back using your ideals to be able hit down and compress. So I’m getting back to the elbow drop that worked so good last summer. Might want to send you another video it’s been a while.Again good stuff. Paul M

Terry, as usual, this is some very information. I have been in touch with your segment for quite sometime and have learned a lot in the journey. I have went from a low eighty player to mid-seventy player just by following your leads. You are truly the real-deal, in that you say what others don’t say or leave out. I pray that you continue to do this because the average golfer like myself can learn and enjoy playing. My sincere thanks.

Terry

I have not played golf this year. Living in Ohio that will happen sometimes. I am 58 years old. I have been trying to play golf for over 25 years. There has been times when I will go for weeks and play some of the best golf of my life and then completely lose my ability to hit the ball straight. I have a library of at least 30 books and videos on the golf swing. Last year I decided to go to a simple swing. So I went to You Tube and typed in Simple Golf Swing. Thats were I found your 2/6 Simple Swing Thoughts videos.

The thing that impressed me was watching your golf swing. I think watching your swing and adjusting my grip has really made my irons come alive. These few changes has allowed me to hit my irons 20 to 30 yards farther and straighter than I have ever hit in my life. That is something that I thought I could never say at the age of 58. However, I do exercise and practice my swing year around, so I am in better than average condition.

This winter I have worked on my Driver and Woods and hope to experience the same performance as my irons.

You are the only one that has been able to show me how to swing and get these results and keep them. And yes that makes golf fun! I am looking forward to another great year of golf.

Thanks for all you do.    Dan

Terry,

I’ve been playing golf for a long time. I’m 28 and started at about 10 years old. I’d usually play a few times a year, but over the last year specifically, I’ve been playing an average of about once a week.

I’m an overthinker by nature, which as you know doesn’t really go great with golf. I’d come across you before but never really applied what you taught, other than maybe a swing or two at the range. Instead it was always either the next hot swing associated with a random letter of the alphabet or some checklist full of steps to find positions throughout the swing.

I came back across you recently and watched one of the recent testimonials from Charles J. It resonated well with me and I decided to fully commit to a round following your guidance. I had no range time to work on what you teach, and jumped straight into the round having only the knowledge of what I learned in about an hour of watching your videos over and over. I have never struck the ball so consistently well for an entire round and if it wasn’t for some around the green mishaps (I focused on the full swing videos) I would have blown away my best round ever, instead I was only three shots behind it.

I joined the premium, and you’ve got a member for life. Today was the most enjoyable round I’ve ever played and I can’t wait to get some practice time in along with some short game work and get back on the course.

Thank you Terry. You’re the man.  Bryan

Terry, I have been a student of the golf swing for many years, I have tried them all just to see if they workand how reliable they are. Well you will be glad to hear your 2/6 swing methodology not only works as advertisedBut today I used 2/6 for 18 holes ,and I hit my irons more solid and straight than I have in years. What an easy swing to adapt to. Looking forward to being. 2/6 golfer going forward.PappyCharlotte NC

Great video. I got the “drop” working correctly on the range the other day and was smoking my irons and bounced several off the pin from 160 yards.

Hi Terry thanks for your helpful videos . Once I have all of your recommended set ups. My simple swing thought is as I swing my arms back I am also attempting to turn my right scapular back to my target. In doing this I can actually feel my arms fall in that perfect slot to finish my swing.

I recently was on a shortish par 5 and had to hit a lay up shot .I have been using this swing for some time with my irons, wedges-7 and had 120yds for a safe lay up. I swung easy and smooth with my 56* sand wedge and hit the ball too far and ended up in a gorge that separates the fairway from the green, it was dead solid and dead center so I’ll take the penalty gladly for a strike like that. Next is working on it with my longer irons. Before I had the tendency to over swing really bad which led to all sorts of problems, I’m 64 btw.

Hi terry

Your are in another league when it comes to swing advice, like many others I have watched plenty of other instructors and nothing comes close to the major improvements I have made watching and listening to you on 26 golf. Last week I played the Belfry, England and rather than the course beating me up I absolutely smashed it. I’m so glad I found you don’t ever give up the on line support I just wish I could afford to fly over and spend sometime with you, the on line is brilliant but I would love to say thank you to your face and maybe play a round. Andy

Thanks Terry. Makes perfect sense. What I know for sure is that when I coordinate everything nicely, it’s a beautiful things. My shots are more accurate and i have increased my distance. And hopefully this makes sense to you and the 2/6 family, but it’s relaxed, easy feel with increased distance. You just make contact and release and raise up to your finish in such an easy manner. It feels great. I’ve also noticed my finish (balance) is much better. That is something that I had been struggling with. I am picking up little things here and there and incorporating them. When I do things right, It truly a beautiful thing. Thanks Terry !  Steven R

Hi Terry ,
To be honest I’ve been trying out some other coaching, face to face but still kept up with all the videos, which remain excellent I have ti say. In the end these other coaches have not made it anywhere as simple to understand as you have and that’s standing there right next to them .
I would just like to ask one question as I live in England obviously there isn’t much chance of getting to one of your coaching days, a great disappointment I might add, but if I become a 2/6player member are thes coaching sessions available to watch not just a few highlights as well as all the other stuff,
Many thanks Keith
Ps keep up the fantastic work you do as your enjoyment and enthusiasm for teaching really does come across.   Kieth N

Terry, – Hi, I am from the UK and I have just returned from a golf holiday in Portugal where I played so badly I was ready to quit golf altogether! 6 rounds all mid to high 90s. Major problems with irons off the deck. Went to range tonight really concentrating on 2/6 and keeping my head behind the ball and hit 60 shots in a row solid!! Just need to trust the method and take it to the course but I just wanted to say thank you Terry for giving me a lifeline and some hope for the year ahead. Keep up the great work. All the best, Gary H.

Establishing the correct grip in sequence to setting up the posture as you are having us do is actually giving us to pose for the moment of inpact. You are right once anyone that takes the time and understand the correct grip as well as the the elements contained in your posture recommendations will become a much happier golfer. Although I have read over and over again Ben Hogan’s ‘Five lessons I have now rejected some of his set up positions such as pictured on page 59 of his paper back version. Over the years, whenever I got tense, a shot would fail me. Note on page 19. The only difference between Hogan’s active impact position to your setting up with a still impact position (more weight set on left leg) is simply in the still impact position both feet a relatively flat on the ground with the exception of the right foot feeling slight pressure on the inner aspect of the side of the foot. At least this interpretation of your work is how I see it and has helped me greatly.

Terry / not sure how to reach you…..But just wanted to tell you I watched your youtube 2/6 instruction yesterday morning before the final day of our club championship …..and won in a 6 hole playoff. It certainly worked for me and I am sure it will work for others. I sincerely feel that anyone who is a teacher and passes on a skill needs to get feedback on their efforts (I used to be a ski instructor). Like most golfers inspired to want to be better at the game….. well, we will try anything. Your method is precise and simple…..I signed up as a member this morning and will learn all I can from you. AND STICK WITH IT!!!!  Thanks Richard!

From David Chamberlain:  Terry, This is just fabulous!
Golf coaches the world (and Internet) over would never show this much instructional information.
This combined with you many, many videos gives a clear, very clear, method and approach to practice.
Still have to practice.
For anyone reading this, “You still have to practice! “.
The bit about turning the club, at least to start, held out in front and turning the club face about an inch, pinching in the rear knee, nudging the hips forward, squaring the club face is pretty much the secret.
Repeatable, accurate, smooth and easy swing.
Period.
Thank you Terry Bradley.
